WHERE

Crowne Plaza 2200 Centreville Rd. Herndon, VA 20170

WHEN

September 23-25th 2026

WHY

The Demand Reduction Summit will be the first national gathering focused exclusively on reducing the demand that fuels sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation in the United States.

For decades, the anti-trafficking field has concentrated on rescue, restoration, and prosecution—vital work, yet downstream from the root cause. This Summit will shift the national conversation upstream, uniting leaders from government, law enforcement, public health, technology, business, academia, faith communities, and survivor leadership to confront demand directly and systematically.

This 2 ½ day working summit will establish a unified, evidence-based framework for ending demand at its source through data, policy, and innovation.

WHY THIS MOMENT MATTERS

The timing for this Summit could not be more critical—or more aligned with current national priorities.

The Demand Reduction Summit is designed to capture this momentum—convening leadership, research, and resolve into a coordinated national strategy.

EVIDENCE-BASED FOUNDATION

The Summit will be grounded in rigorous scholarship and measurable outcomes.

This integration of cutting-edge research with cross-sector collaboration ensures that the Summit’s outcomes will be both intellectually credible and operationally practical — bridging academic insight with real-world implementation.
