Tips on Communicating with your Elected Officials

You can be a voice for a child victim of sex trafficking! Become an empowered citizen by learning who your elected officials are and how to reach them in writing. Find your legislator online at the Secretary of State’s website.

Once you know who your state senator and representatives are visit http://www.legis.ga.gov/ and search by name. This will provide you with a mailing address for your legislators. They are best reached at the district address May-December and at the Capitol January-April.

A Future. Not A Past. stays abreast of legislative action impacting children who have been victims of sex trafficking at the Georgia General Assembly. You can too. Sign up for weekly advocacy updates via email at www.afuturenotapast.org.

Speaking with a single voice maximizes our effectiveness as advocates for these children!
