A 2014 national survey of child sex trafficking victims conducted by Thorn, in collaboration with Texas Christian University, found that 63% of victims had been sold online. This is why Street Grace is implementing methods to reduce the appeal for buying children online for sex. Street Grace has launched a confidential study to develop effective strategies to decrease anonymity within the online marketplace, thereby decreasing demand.
We would like to invite you to prayerfully consider participating as a volunteer for this project designed to reduce demand for sex with children. You will be able to choose one of two volunteer information and training sessions. Volunteers will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement to protect the integrity of the project, prior to a presentation from Street Grace staff that outlines information and details concerning the project. Trainings will be held at the Street Grace offices on Tuesday, December 6 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm or Saturday, December 10 from 9:30 - 11:30 am.
