Sex-trafficking fight goes beyond streets

ATLANTA - June 14, 2009 - On Sunday, June 14, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution article “Sex-Trafficking Fight Goes Beyond Streets” discusses teenage prostitution and the sex traffic problem in Atlanta. In it, the article mentions the formation of Street GRACE.

Cheryl Deluca-Johnson is quoted, “We,” ... referring to suburban residents, “keep trying to say it is not in our backyard, but it absolutely is.”

Street GRACE is a non-denominational alliance of churches dedicated to the eradication of the sexual exploitation of children in Atlanta and duplication of these efforts in other cities. It is estimated that 200-300 girls will be raped for profit in metro Atlanta this month.
