"I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people."
1 Timothy 2:1

Street Grace's prayer team consists of faithful citizens across the nation, united in the purpose of engaging the power of prayer against Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking (DMST). The most powerful weapon that we have against evil is prayer, and child sex trafficking exists as one of the most blatant examples of evil in our society today. The objectification and dehumanization of victims stand in direct opposition to God’s passion for the oppressed, for unity, and for justice. We hope that you consider committing to be a prayer warrior today.

How it works:

Each month, team members will receive updates from Street Grace with specific ways to pray for victims, purchasers, and perpetrators of child sex trafficking, along with ways to prayerfully support those engaging in the fight against child sex trafficking across the United States.

Prayer topics will include:

  • Victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking
  • Traffickers and Exploiters
  • Reduction of demand
  • Cycles of poverty and other systems of oppression
  • Leaders and policy makers
  • Congregations and their response
  • Street Grace’s programs, staff, and efforts

Prayer Team members make a commitment to pray boldly, specifically, and regularly for perpetrators and victims of child sex trafficking. They are committed to stand alongside other prayer warriors on behalf of those who need it most.

A Prayer for the End of Human Trafficking

As shared by the Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, Convent Station, N.J.

God of freedom, beauty and truth, we believe that your deepest desire, your most powerful energy, is that all creation might know abundant life.
We raise our voices in anguished prayer for our sisters and brothers, women and girls, men and boys, who are modern day slaves; They are your beloved daughters and sons, exploited sexually or forced to work because of human violence and greed.
Fill us with your holy anger and your sacred passion that those who are trafficked might know healing and justice; that traffickers will come to repentance and conversion; that all of us might live in such a way that others are not made to pay the price for our comfort and convenience.
Hasten the coming of the day when all people and our precious Earth itself will be treated, not as a commodity, but as radiant images of your freedom, beauty and truth.
Amen. May it be so.
