dmst Lobby day 2016
Awareness at this year's Lobby Day highlighted the importance of community involvement, education on DMST, and voter ratification of Senate Resolution 7 during the November 2016 General Election. The purpose of this ratification is to enable the Safe Harbor legislation from last session, ensuring that services and support are provided for child victims of sex trafficking in Georgia; furthering the principle that children are victims, and should not be charged and treated as criminals.
DMST Lobby Day is not possible without the support of individuals and organizations across the state who believe that children are priceless. Support this DMST Lobby Day and help give a voice to the voiceless. If you are interested in sponsoring Lobby Day 2017, please contact us at email@example.com.
