dmst Lobby day 2016

Awareness at this year's Lobby Day highlighted the importance of community involvement, education on DMST, and voter ratification of Senate Resolution 7 during the November 2016 General Election. The purpose of this ratification is to enable the Safe Harbor legislation from last session, ensuring that services and support are provided for child victims of sex trafficking in Georgia; furthering the principle that children are victims, and should not be charged and treated as criminals.
