Street GRACE 

Strategy & Volunteer Intern 

 

This is an unpaid position with the potential for the person to become employed at a future time based on job performance.  This position is being established to help implement necessary steps as Street GRACE grows and increases its place within the CSEC community.  The intern will report to the Strategy and Volunteer Coordinator. 

 

Requirements:  Applicant must have a working knowledge of computer database programs, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated organizational skills.  College degree and/or administrative experience preferred.  A personal computer is required and mileage will be reimbursed for Street GRACE business. 

 

Duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

 

1. Help maintain the current database of volunteers. 

2. Assist with data entry during the transition period of web design and the front-end load-in of the current information. 

3. Begin and maintain one-on-one relationships with Street GRACE volunteers by helping to coordinate and communicate as to if they are volunteering, where they are volunteering, or helping them find a place to get permanently connected to volunteer. 

4. Track all information in the newly created database. 

5. Schedule, coordinate and run a Serve, Learn and Volunteer Day. 

6. Attend any Street GRACE meetings as necessary. 

7. Meet with the Strategy and Volunteer Coordinator on a weekly basis for updates. 

8. Meet with Community Partners on an as needed basis.
